Heidi and Jake were married February 20th in Billings. It was a clear, crisp blue sky day in Billings that turned into a glowing snowy evening. Heidi was stunning, absolutely glowing all day. They had the ceremony at St. Patrick's Cathedral and the reception was at the Depot. Gainan's did a fantastic job on all the flowers and planning. As you may remember reading in my last post, Jake and I went to school together all the way back to elementary school and I played soccer with Heid so, had a blast photographing all my old friends from high school. There were so many great shots from this wedding I had a tough time choosing which to blog. The day came together beautifully and perfectly. My fellow photographers from Blubird Images, Jennie Lynn Stanley and Carlie Breen came along to assist and photograph with me.

Last year I photographed Les Dances de L'Amour (Dances of Love) at the Emerson that is put on by Youth Arts in Action and to my surprise, my photos have appeared on the front of the "This Week" from the Chronicle and the Bozone. Unfortunately, they neglected to give me photo credit (whoops! it really bums me out when that happens).

At any rate. It's the most inspiring performance to photograph. The dancers are world class. I am excited to photograph it again this year. It takes place this Wednesday evening. I highly recommend going. It is world class ballet right here in Bozeman, Montana. You can order tickets online at the Youth Arts in Action website.

I apologize for the terrible scan quality.. what can I say, its newsprint.

Hope to see you all there.

Amazing photos! and amazing dancers...I wished I could have seen them being photographed! You have an artists eye...your own way of seeing which is a gift for us! Too bad about the lack of recognition...it happens. But I think the covers are gorgeous! I look forward to seeing shots from the next shoot! Love you so, Mom
