This is Stephanie and Blade. So, I went to high school with Blade. He contacted me months back to let me know he was engaged and planning a wedding here in Bozeman. I was super excited to get to work with him and I was even more excited when I met Stephanie! They are a super fun and energetic couple with amazing style to boot! We first headed North to the Springhill Pavilion where there wedding ceremony and reception will be. The hadn't seen the site yet, so I thought it would be fun to show it to them and take some cute pics there. On the way to the Pavilion we spotted a big herd of Elk so we stopped to take a closer look and of course took the opportunity to do photos on a beautiful Montana dirt road. We hit downtown Bozeman for a few more photos then headed to Plonk for a cocktail.
It was an amazing shoot! Thanks Steph and Blade for taking the time!

Here is a cute behind the scenes shot. Blade was so nervous at the beginning he tried to put a shirt over a shirt. Thankfully Stephanie was there to style and help him out. ;)
Here are the elk! Gotta love Montana. You never know what wild animal you'll see on an engagement shoot.

Ahhhh, I love my clients and I love Montana! I say this because of this lovely couple from Great Falls, Kattie and Kirk. They came all the way down to Bozeman from Great Falls for their engagement session. They brought their dog, Coulee and planned a romantic weekend getaway to Big Sky around the session. I was so stoked when Kattie asked to do something a little different for their session. She wanted a night shoot! I, of course, was totally game. They arrived on the most beautiful night in April. It was 60 degrees and gorgeous. After running around in one of my favorite fields, we headed downtown for some fun. We ended the night at the local wine bar, Plonk. I absolutely loved getting to know these two. We have so much in common. To mention just a few, good wine, the mountains, doggies... the list goes on and on!
Kattie and Kirk, you guys rock! Can't wait for the wedding.
