Rehearsal Dinners can be almost as large, important, unique and beautifully decorated as weddings can be. A handful of times a year, I am asked to photograph this important gathering as well as the wedding day. It is so much fun to meet and get to know the important people at the wedding before the actual wedding day. The photos have such a different feeling than wedding day photos, so much more relaxed and candid. It is a time of introductions, reunions, joy and much anticipation! Yep, I've decided the pre-celebration is as important as the post. :)

This is Cat and Matt. I had the honor to photograph their rehearsal dinner and wedding day in September in Big Sky. Their rehearsal dinner was held high in the mountains in above the Gallatin River at Cache Creek. The venue, food and location was provided by Charlie Immenschuh, owner of Cache Creek Outfitters. Although the summer temperatures were gone, everyone bundled up and had a blast at the gathering. Katalin Green coordinated and designed the event and flowers. What a beautiful evening!

Ahhhhhh, I am overwhelmed by how fortunate I am to have such amazing, wonderful clients. Every last one, I love! Julie and Graham, of course, are no exception. These two love birds hail from Seattle, Washington and hosted their dream wedding here in Big Sky country. They were wed at Soldier's Chapel and held their reception at the lovely Rainbow Ranch. Katalin Green and her team at Avant Floral are responsible for the floral design, Deirdre Quinn, Owner of Indulgence did the bridal party's makeup. Merissa Lambert 2nd camera-ed for me and did a fantastic job as always.
