So I recently bought the latest and greatest Nikon D700 and Nikon 24-70 f2.8 lens. I couldn't deny myself its amazing low light capabilities and full super sensitive image sensor. The lens is also outstanding! Its the sharpest lens I've ever shot!

At any rate, I now have an extra Nikon D300 on my hands as well as a Nikon 17-55 f2.8 dx lens. The camera and lens are less than a year old and are in excellent condition. I am asking a killer deal for them. The D300 is $1400 and the lens is $900. If you'd like both of them, which is an awesome pair, I would discount them $100, so $2,200 for both (the D300 retails new at B&H Photo for $1,799.99 and the 17-55mm retails new for $1,229.99).
