I always say, I love becoming friends with my clients. In this case it is really true. I met Frances when we were both about 7 months prego in 2009. Actually, our daughters had the same due date! But, Chapin, Frances's daughter was early and Cecelia, my daughter was late, so they are about a month apart in age. I've had the chance to get to know Frances and her family, Tood, Chapin and Gradey-dog over the past 2 years. Frances and I grew close after our daughters were born, getting together almost weekly with a group of other new mommies. At any rate, I've fallen in love with this family. I feel truly blessed to know such kind, thoughtful, fun folks! It is such an honor to document your lives. Thank you!

On another note... this is a great example of how great winter portraits can be! Don't be afraid of the winter! Any time of year is a good for a portrait session!

In honor of Frankie's first birthday, her mom and dad decided to have her picture taken... by me! Oh boy! I got to photograph Christie and Tyson LaFountain, Frankie's proud parents, last year when they were expecting little Frankie. I can't believe its been a year! Christie and Tyson have worked hard to put together a super cool playroom for the little rug rat (Cece would be oh so jealous) where we photographed. Then we took advantage of the warm fall weather for some outdoor photos. Congratulations, happy birthday and big hugs!!!! Hurray!
