As you all may have noticed, my blogging was a bit lack luster last summer and fall. I must say, I do have a great excuse! I was expecting little Cecelia and was working super hard to get all my weddings wrapped up before our bundle of joy arrived. So, I'm playing catch up, which, I must admit has been fun. I love looking back at all the fun portrait sessions, commercial work and weddings I shot last year.

This is an engagement shoot I photographed of Jake and his beautiful fiance Heidi last July. Jake and I went to high school together. Heidi went to a different high school but we did play a little soccer together. It was so much fun cruising around Chico and paradise valley catching up. I can't believe how beautiful and green it was... the Montana winter must be wearing on me. I start craving COLOR this time of year.

Anyways, Jake and Heidi were just married last weekend in Billings. It was a fantastic, beautiful wedding. It was a blast photographing two wonderful Billings families and all their friends. It was quite the event! I'll be blogging photos of it soon. Stay posted!

Back in September Frances gave me a call wondering if she could schedule a maternity session with me. I was so excited to hear that she was due one day before I was! We scheduled to shoot in early October. It turned out to be a beautiful fall afternoon and I was so tickled to get to know Frances and Todd and chat all about the craziness of pregnancy. Long story short, now Frances and I are dear friends and get together weekly with our daughters and with a group of other new mommies. Congratulations Frances and Todd on your new baby girl, Chapin! I look forward to watching her grow.

So, I've started to come up for air from mommy land, well, sort of. I photographed Hilary and Tim's engagement session around Bozeman, Montana. It turned out to be the first time I was away from Cecelia for any extended period of time. I have to be honest, it felt great to be out shooting again. I am slowly but surely starting to work. Which means you all will have more blog entries to check out and if you would like to schedule your portrait session give me a call.

Laurie and Steve planned their destination wedding for July 4th, 2009 on Flathead Lake. I was so excited to hear that they were able to make it down to Bozeman the week before their wedding to visit some family and take me up on the complimentary engagement session I offer to all my wedding clients. We cruised around the valley taking fun pics and getting to know each other. As I think the photos tell, we had a great time!

A new popular product I have been offering this year is the engagement guest book. So often I would look through all of the great shots from an engagement session and wish I could do something with them. These books have turned out to be the perfect solution. They are hard bound coffee table books in either 7x10 or 8x11. We design them with plenty of room for your guest to sign and write. They\'ve been a hugely popular over the traditional boring lined sign in books usually seen at the entrance of weddings. The first spread in the slide show is the front cover image and the rest are the interior pages.
