Tamera and Trevor were married in July at Holland Lake Lodge in the Swan Valley here in Northwest Montana. I met Tamera and Trevor in June of 2008 when they were traveling through Montana from North Dakota on the search to find their perfect wedding location. We did an engagement session and had a nice evening chatting about places that might be a perfect fit for them. I told them to check out Holland Lake Lodge on their travels, they did and fell in love with it! How could you not?

Almost a year later I reunited with them to photograph their special day. It was so beautiful at the high mountain lake location. Tamera did an amazing job with all or her details and colors! I told her she would be an amazing event coordinator. Jennifer Horsley, owner of Habitat, floral and event design, out of Missoula, Montana created all the beautiful flower arrangements and did the set up and coordination the day of the wedding.

I think Tamera and Trevor are such a perfect, adorable couple. It was such a pleasure to be part of their day. What a beautiful destination, Montana wedding! Enjoy.

Soooo.... I haven't announced it on the blog yet but as so many of you know, I'm expecting a little girl on December 11th! Bill McConnell and I are so excited to announce the news of our new family.

Its been a pretty easy pregnancy all in all. I had lots of bad morning sickness to start and am starting to get pretty big now at 27 weeks. My energy is high and shooting has been easy for me. I think I am going to stop shooting in mid to late October, depending on how I'm feeling. I plan on leaving work around Thanksgiving though Christmas and will be out of the studio and working from home in January through March. We'll see how it all goes. I'm going to play it by ear. I may be able to bring new baby girl to the studio while I work. I just don't know yet.

I am still taking bookings for next summer. However, I will be capping my summer (May- October) weddings at 15 to make sure I have time for being a momma.

We don't have a name picked out yet. We've got a few favorites but will wait to meet her before giving her a name.

These ultra sound pics are from July 27th when I was around 20 weeks along. She's quite the mover and shaker! I feel like I have a little acrobat inside of me. Its been such a crazy busy wedding season that I haven't had time to have my photographer friends take photos of my new profile... but Larry said he'll take some quick ones of me later today, so stay posted.

I got a call way back in December of 2008 from David asking if I do shoot fashion photography for model portfolios. I told him that I hadn't done official model shoots but showed him my engagement and senior portrait portfolios to give him a feel for how I shoot. To my excitement he was stoked on my style and we scheduled a couple of shoots to create a modeling portfolio for him. We shot way back in June and as you can see, I am just getting to telling you about it!

At any rate, Dave is way into fitness and fitness modeling so we created created edgy lighting to show off his hard work. He's got a great face and body for all sorts of modeling! So, if you need a good looking male model or actor, let me know and I'll hook you guys up.

We're putting together a portfolio for him in a bound book format. I am super stoked for the final product. I know it will turn out really classy and will hopefully book him some jobs!

Lindsay and Sean were married July 11th here in Bozeman at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. You might remember them from previous blog posts. Lindsay has a son, Payne, so the marriage wasn't just about Lindsay and Sean but about the joining of their new family. It was a gorgeous day and a beautiful wedding. Sean and Lindsay had their good friend, a Catholic priest at Carol College in Helena, officiate the ceremony. He made it a fun, funny and uplifting mass totally unlike I had every witnessed. The joyful mood continued through the rest of the afternoon and evening at the Rocking TJ Ranch where they held their reception. Lindsay's family is of Basque decent, so the festivities, celebration, dancing and crowd were off the charts especially when the Clumsy Lovers started playing.

Leslie Lukas of Leslie Lukas Weddings and Events was responsible for the amazing wedding design and coordination and I believe Elle's Belles made all the cake and cup cakes.
