Its here! I did it! I finally got my new website up that I have been promising for the past 6 months!!! Hurray! Some of the new features include: a brand new splash page, BIG pictures that fit the size of your screen, a new private online viewing and ordering website, did I mention BIG pictures! Oh yeah, and lots of new engagement photos and wedding portfolios you've never seen before, because honestly, I was just too darn busy to blog and post them last season. Under "info" you can view the video of me shooting a wedding last summer, I have a list of my favorite vendors, info about myself, wedding day info and of course testimonials from past clients.

The only bummer so far is that my new portrait website is not live yet, so when you click on the portrait site it takes you to my wedding site. Urgggg... But, I figure, if gives me another chance to get all excited and blog about the new portrait website.

So, let me know what you think and how it works! Hopefully there are no kinks to work out, but ya never know with this web stuff.

Still looking for a wedding venue for 2009? Look no further! The Double T River Ranch is a new guest ranch located in the Shields River valley about 30 minutes from Bozeman. I have been honored to photograph their twice in the past year for their promotional website and brochure. I quickly discovered when you rent out the Double T, you are literally renting an all access pass to a huge, gorgeous ranch! Think, fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, wildlife watching! There is a huge beautiful party barn, equip with a commercial kitchen, a quaint, but still luxurious ranch house, a cottage and 2 riverfront cabins. As you will see from the pictures, the ranch and all the buildings are amazingly beautiful yet truly Montana. I highly reccomend this venue for weddings, family reunions, corporate gatherings and even large business parties.

Here is a little information I grabbed directly from the Double T River Ranch website:

Hot, sunny summertime lounging and listening to the river. The cold clear beauty of snow-covered meadows and awe-inspiring mountain backdrops. Deer and moose grazing under blaze orange fall foliage. Bald eagles soaring silhouetted against true blue skies. Private riverside trails wandering through aspen groves and towering cottonwoods to brilliant wildflower meadows...

Just another day at the Double T River Ranch. Come live for a while at your Montana home.
The Double T River Ranch is different. Not a guest ranch, not your typical vacation home. It's your ranch, your way. Discover one of Montana's hidden gems...

The Double T River Ranch...Look forward to laid back.

Located 3 minutes from the friendly, quaint, western town of Clyde Park, MT, the Double T River Ranch offers 115+ acres of beautiful private Montana wilderness - all for the exclusive use of you and your group. The ranch features one mile of prime Shields River frontage, dedicated concierge services, comfortable sleeping space for up to twenty-five guests and a restored "party barn". Whether you bring your family, your fishing buddies or your corporate team, you and your guests will enjoy luxurious accommodations, friendly, warm service and a relaxed, comfortable environment without the distraction of other guests. The Double T is your ranch, your way, offering total freedom to build your ideal vacation.

Born from our own experiences trying to find the perfect place for a vacation for our large, three generation family group, The Double T River Ranch is the realization of a dream to provide a one-of-a-kind experience. The Double T River Ranch provides what typical hotel rooms, guest ranches and vacation homes can't - space, privacy, luxury and unique communal spaces carefully designed for hanging out. Offering a huge restored "party" barn, a four-bedroom ranch house, a one-bedroom cottage and two private riverfront cabins, The Double T River Ranch comfortably sleeps two to 25+ people in total comfort and luxury. The finest linens, overstuffed pillows, down comforters, and handmade quilts can make it hard to get out of bed in the morning, but fully appointed baths, rich thick towels, mountain sights and scents, and the amazing array of activities available will ensure that you enjoy each day in true Montana fashion. We believe that quality time deserves a quality place - and that defines the Double T River Ranch!

The Double T River Ranch is beautiful and secluded yet :

Many of you are well aware that the fabulous Leslie Lukas is back in the wedding industry in full force. She launched her new business, Leslie Lukas Weddings & Events this last fall and just opened an awesome storefront in Ennis, Montana called Main Street Floral.

To promote her new business, she put together these promo post cards. I was blown away when I saw them because she featured my photography on her card! I am so thankful and honored! These shots are from a fabulous intimate wedding we both worked on last April in Paradise Valley, the wedding of Ruth & Robert. Click HERE to view my blog post from this wedding and click HERE to view their wedding album.

At any rate, Leslie does amazing floral design and is a dream to work with on event and wedding design and coordination. She is an experienced business woman and has been a dear friend and mentor to me over the years. You may remember her recent business, the Floral Gallery, a successful floral design business in Bozeman, Montana as well as an event planning business called Paradise Custom Weddings. I highly recommend her services and respect and love her dearly! I'm pretty darn sure if you decide to use her services, you'll feel the same way about her immediately.

Leslie recently opened a storefront in Ennis, Montana called Main Street Floral. She calls it a little piece of sunshine in Ennis, Montana. I have yet to head over the hill to visit, but am looking forward to it. Our dear friend and photographer, Morgan Roof visited her last week and took some awesome photos of the new shop. Visit Leslie's blog to view photos of Main Street Floral.

My studio neighbors, Classic Ink designed the new logo for her which is a take off of her old Floral Gallery logo.   MSF___bw_logo.jpg

On a whole other note, I was honored to do some professional portraits of Leslie last summer. She was working hard on her new business, blog and website and of course, needed some nice head shots to go along. You are a beauty miss Leslie and make my job easy!

The 8th annual issue of Montana Bride was released this week and I am so proud and honored to have my photo featured on the cover as well as many more featured throughout this classy, beautifully put together wedding magazine.

Last July, Katalin Green, event designer extraordinaire, artist and stylist, Mollie Eckman, Katalin's assistant and event coordinator and Page Kuntz, the blonde bombshell model and myself headed out on a mission to create a memorable look for the cover of Montana Bride 2009. Katalin hand picked her favorite dresses from the 2009 Augusta Jones wedding gown line, created gorgeous floral arrangements (www.avantfloral.com), and picked out a colorful gorgeous location to stage the shoot (you guessed it, the courtyard at Shack Up). Miss Deirdre Quinn of Indulgence did Page's makeup and Trevor Soucie of Tonic Salon did her hair.

You can pickup a copy of the magazine at select locations around Bozeman and you can always order a copy on the Montana Bride website.

I was honored to be chosen to photograph Zeno Baucus, son of Monana Senator, Max Baucus, and Stephanie Denton's wedding that took place June of last year here in Montana at Big Sky Resort. The wedding was feautred at the front of the magazine.on page 10! Katalin Green was the event designer, Avant Floral created the floral arrangements, Suzanne Ullom did the hair and Indulgence did makeup.

In the middle of the magazine there is a fashion spread that features more of my photos from our Montana Bride photo shoot in July. They chose to feature some fun "behind the scenes" shots. And, on page 55 my Lauren Brown Photography ad is featured adjacent my photos from the shoot!

Mollie Eckman wrote this article about gifts for wedding guests. They used 3 of my photos for this article (the top three).

Oh yeah, and this one is on the front of the Real Montana Brides section.
