Meet Molly and Peter. Another amazing couple that I am in love with and wish so much they lived here in Bozeman! They are getting married this summer at the Stockfarm Club in Hamilton, Montana. I have no doubt it will be a beautiful, fun-filled event. I am SO looking forward to photographing it! Molly and Peter, you rock.

Montana Maternity Photography, baby Rosemary on the way

Here is shoot number 2 of 3 for Lisa, celebrating baby Rosemary. Just a few short weeks ago I photographed this maternity session with Lisa and Rich and I am excited to announce that she has arrived! I am so looking forward to meeting and photographing her next weekend!

Lisa's maternity session was so much fun! We started in town and met Rich, including him in photos during his lunch hour, then headed out to their home to finish up. Lisa had Rosemary's room just perfect. All of Lisa and Rich's sweet pets, 2 cats and 2 dogs, hung out with us while we shot. You could tell too were they were excited for her arrival.

Thank you Lisa and Rich! It is such an honor to work with you and your beautiful family. Can't wait to see you soon! CONGRATULATIONS!

Lisa's Baby Shower, happy ladies at the horse ranch

I was lucky enough to get to meet and photograph for this amazing loving family last July at Susanne and Andrew's wedding, (Lisa's mom and step dad). This family has a passion for animals.They rescue and nurture horses. Lisa's closest girl friends and family gathered on a blustery March weekend to celebrate the much anticipated arrival of baby Ledoux. It is such a meaningful and exciting time! I was so honored to be a part of it.

The always lovely Leslie Lukas coordinated the event and created the flower designs and Emily Ryan owner of Food for Thought catered the event.

Lisa, I am excited to announce has had her baby since I did this shoot in March and we even fit in a maternity shoot before baby arrived (I'll be posting those soon). Tomorrow morning I am headed over to their house to meet and photograph the baby girl so stay tuned!

The Downtown Bozeman Association and Downtown Retailers along with our gracious community sponsors, The Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Insty Prints, The Bozone and "My 103.5" FM are proud to present the 2012 Bridal Walk on Saturday, April 14^th 11am-3pm on Main Street in Downtown Bozeman.

We are rolling out the red carpet for brides, grooms and their entourage in Downtown Bozeman! Stop by the Baxter Hotel anytime the day of the event and receive a bag of goodies to help you on your way! Then, stroll Main Street and discover over 35 participating businesses that can help you with all of your wedding needs. Find everything from dresses, rings, invitations, flowers, gift registries and more. I've been shooting for Lindsay and Greg for about 5 years now, starting when Lindsay was pregnant with her first, Sawyer. Over the years we've done between 1 and 3 portrait sessions a year. It has been so amazing watching this gorgeous family grow. Needless to say, I've grown close to this crew over the years and can't wait to document their next phase.

This is Cassie and Gabe! They are the cutest, sweetest most fun couple!!!! (I know I say that about everyone, but it's true!) I just love that they embraced the sparkly beautiful winter morning. Cassie and Gabe have the best energy and passion. I can't wait for their wedding in Billings this summer. We had a blast getting to know each other and finished the session with some yummy coffee and treats at the Daily Coffee Shop.

Yellowstone National Park Wedding Photographer

I have never had such fun, adventurous, outdoorsy clients! Kate and Brian planned their wedding their way and it was perfect! Along with their closest family, Kate and Brian headed into the winter wonderland of Yellowstone National Park. They arrived just a day prior to their wedding so we hiked around looking for the perfect spot for them to exchange their vows. They found just the place along the boiling river near Old Faithful Lodge in a grove of lodge pole pines. We put on skis and stomped the snow down at the site so everyone would not sink up to their wastes! Kate's dear friend and doctor she did a rural residency program with in Libby, Montana, Bill Cuskelly, officiated the ceremony. His wife decorated the site with icicles, pine cones and natural decorations. I brought a raspberry colored sash for Kate's dress, a boutonniere and bouquet into the park, made by Leslie Lukas. Kate wore her mother's silk coat that her grandmother made for the ceremony as well as a warm pair of Uggs. After the ceremony the group gathered around a fire pit along the Firehole River for toasts, wine, songs, sledding and celebration. Dinner in the snow lodge followed along with ice skating and card games.

We did a "day after" photo session in the beautiful blue sky then, which included the snow angels!, then, Kate, Brian I went for an afternoon ski to Mystic Falls. The weekend was absolutely perfect! I feel beyond blessed to have met and been a part of this union!

Kayla and Corey, winter fun

One plus to the unseasonably warm winter weather has been shooting outside! This is Kayla and Corey. They are getting married at the Gallatin Gateway Inn this September 1st. These two traveled from Billings for their engagement session. We had a blast cruising to select locations enjoying the sunshine and getting to know each other.

You may remember these two love birds from their AMAZING engagement session with the double rainbow, last August! I had been happily anticipating their magical, intimate winter wedding at Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone Park. It was the most perfectly nontraditional wedding I've photographed yet!!!

There are very special moments that happen everyday, and of course at every wedding... I love photographing those moments. I also love capturing a beautiful stylish portrait! BUT... one of the other, very important aspects of wedding photography, is photographing the details. There is so much time, money, creativity and energy put into planning every aspect of a wedding that I feel it is important to document it, beautifully. Here are a few more shots of Lauren and Caleb's recent Chico, Yellowstone National Park wedding. Leslie Lukas created the beautiful flowers and helped with the day's coordination.

Merry Christmas everyone! Just wanted to share with you my latest wedding work. I love winter and holiday weddings! It is always fun and exciting when couples do something out of the norm when getting married. This is Lauren and Caleb they tied the knot at Mammoth Chapel at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park on, just 5 days ago on December 20th. Leslie Lukas helped coordinate the simple event and created a beautiful bouquet for Lauren and boutonniere for Caleb. It was so simple, elegant and small... Leslie and I were the witnesses! Smiles. I love that!

Sunny snow days in the Gallatin Valley are so great! This is the Wagner family. We took photos at their house to start then packed up the family and headed out River Road to find some gorgeous Montana views. I had so much fun with Jake and Mary's little boys; they are so full of energy and spunk! Enjoy.
